If Bill Murray does this and not GB3 I’ll be pissed. Did, however enjoy the hell outta space jam, including its awesome sound track.
Let me get this straight: he’ll do horrible movies like Garfield and its God aweful sequel, and a space jam sequel but skip out on Gb3?
Yes but think about the following Ghostbusters has. Its almost like a cult following. The franchise behind Ghostbusters is much bigger then Garfield and space jam combined. The world didnt stop when garfield sucked. The world wont stop if soace jam sucks but if you screw up GB3 then their is a shit storm of fans that will blast Sony and the script for failing to meet the standard we all expect from Ghostbusters. I mean people complain about the wrong logo being on a FunkPop toy of the Ecto. God forbid screw up a movie. I dont blame Bill at all for stepping away from GB3. Makes him incredibly smart.
Also should be said that Bill is not tied to Space Jam 2 as of now. It just shows the studio would rather make this movie than something like GB3
And Garfield was a voice over job for him–all he had to do was sit in a recording booth and read his lines. No make-up, no costume, no heavy proton pack. He could just about literally phone it in.
Space Jam 2? We don’t get GB3 or a (Good) sequel to A Nightmare on Elmstreet but we get Space Jam 2? I though the movie was a one time deal like E.T.
Eh, in my case, if I don’t like the third movie, I can fall back on the game and the old movies as well as the TV show, a bad movie doesn’t erased those.
According to a Bill Murray interview, he literally did Garfield by accident. He thought it was being directed by someone he really wanted to work with — but it turns out he was mistaken and it was someone else. By then, he had already signed the contract.
He has no agent.
Plus in the contract he got roped into a sequel.
To remove any type of bias, step back and look at the Batman franchise. Much larger fandom and not scared of any Bat…errr… Backlash.
Until Ben Affleck does the role, then we shall see what comes from that community
Just never underestimate any fandoms ability to fly into a blind rage over petty crap.
Im not underestimating anything.
What I am getting at is that Clooney ruined B&R but they still make Batman movies with daring choices like Affleck. We’ve been lucky with GB movies but a bad third wouldn’t be the end of the world.
Hell, if it at least re-ignited interest I’d consider that a win, I told people I plan to build a proton pack and almost no one knows what I’m talking about x.x
At this point, a GB III scares me and Affleck couldn’t be worse than Clooney.
Clooney ruined Batman and Robin?!?!?!?
CLOONEY?!?!?!?!?!?!

Don’t get me wrong, he’s not my favorite Batman…but there was WAAAAAAAY more wrong with that movie than him!

Goddammit Arnie’s puns were HORRIBLE!
And Bane is supposed ot be at least somewhat intelligent, this movie had him as just a big dumb brute.
In regards to Clooney, well, the costume was what might have hurt him, or that stupid credit card >.<

That was the jumping off point for me and why Clooney ruined it. Takes all the blame right there.
