I was wondering if everyone who bought the TimeLife set has a problem with Volume 4 being slow.
Does TimeLife replaces it if we have that problem ?
Finally will the single release of Vol. 4 be corrected ?
I believe the episodes that are having pacing problems actually aired that way. This was the point when the show was starting to get lazy. Some of the episodes were either sped up or slowed down to fit the 1 hour time slot when the show was changed to Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters. I believe those episodes are on Volume 4. I don’t think there is anything wrong with Volume 4
Yeah…the music score was very slow in most of the shows in that volume and i mean slow lol.yeah what he said ^^^^^ 
Wasn’t the reason for the slowness due to the PAL - NTSC conversion of the master tapes? I mean the slowness doesn’t affect the last couple of seasons.

yeah i have the problem also volume 4 disc 2 to be precise i am watching the entire series right now since i bought it only a month or so ago so no fix does anybody know
if it is a pal to ntsc conversion problem wouldnt you be able to rip the dvds and renecode those episodes that are affected into 25fps or pal standards and that would fix it just a thought
Well I live in the UK and those episodes play too slow as well so I’m not sure that would fix the problem. I just read about this problem on one of the Ghostbusters websites.
I think what megaman2000 is saying is if the original master tapes were 25fps then when the DVD was made, they would’ve transcoded the files to 30fps so they would work on NTSC DVD players. So, you rip the discs giving you the 30fps files, transcode them BACK to 25fps and (in theory) they should run at the correct speed. Hope that makes sense!
