Hey all, I was wondering if anyone out there has any anysight they would like to share about constructing the various boxes like the gear box and power cell and such as well as the gun body, I’m having a bit of trouble trying to get them to look right. The gun body I tried to build last weekend looked like a collapsing house. So any tips or tricks any body would like to share would be really apprecited

Gun body: Buy a resin one (Funkzilla) you’ll be glad you did.
I used 1/4" MDF wood, easy to cut ,sand,shape or some others have used foamboard with sucess. Either way you’ll need to put gussets in for strength.
If you wanna make the gun box yourself (which is way cheaper but harder) just go to http://www.hprops.com/labels and download the template. Just print it out, glue it onto the material of your choice, and cut on the lines! I couldn’t have done my gun without it.
I second that Radar, that template really helps out ALOT. Though remember if you DO print it out, do so in 100% layout of the page, or else it’ll come out about an 8" inch too small, which sucked for me, I had almost everything cut from the template when I found this out. Had to start ALll over, but it was worth it

Radar, Ghostbustersfreek, you guys rock! Thanks for the link I really appreciate it. BTW, did you guys make an internal structure for the gunbox or just kinda glued it in sections?
