There were so many people involved in the process of making this experience a reality and so many thousands upon thousands of different people who each have their own fond memories of Ghostbusters that are now able to rejoin these wonderful characters again in a new way because of the long hours put in by everyone involved. But it is truly you five collectively, as a team, who are the most responsible for this fantastic game and the rebirth of this franchise. Because without each of you no amount of effort on anyone’s part could truly bring this together properly.
Dan and Harold, after playing through the entire game and seeing your story unfold I want to congratulate you on a job very well done. The story you created was far more than any of us could have guessed it would be. It brought so much more depth to the original film and by all means would have stood very well as a film unto itself. You guys really put the effort into developing a storyline that seemed at the time (much to many a fan’s dismay) as if it would never see the light of day. But your belief in and love for this universe and these characters definitely paid off and I want to give you both a long distance high five for the amount of dedication you gave to this project. I’m sure it must be very exciting to see that hard work finally come to fruition, and it’s so good to have Ray and Egon back! I want to thank you while at the same time express just how happy I am for you. You both deserve a ■■■■■■■!
Bill, what can I say? You’re the world’s most favorite Ghostbuster. Without Peter Venkman things just wouldn’t be the same. As nothing more than a fan I can’t say I have any idea about how things played out over the years, but what I can say is that I’m so glad you were involved in this. You made me laugh until it hurt the same way you did 25 years ago, and it’s a LOT harder to do that now. The first time I ever saw you in anything was Ghostbusters and you’ve been one of my favorite actors ever since. It was always a downer thinking another GB project that involved all of you guys would never happen. Playing this game was about as epic as seeing Pink Floyd finally reunite at Live 8. Awesome. Just awesome. Welcome back, Dr. Venkman! This couldn’t have been done without you.
Ernie, over the years you have always shown love for Ghostbusters and for the fans. Out of anybody it was you that seemed the most eager to put on a proton pack again. Winston was by far the most sane of the crew and he definitely brought the cool factor in. I’m so glad this finally came together for you and for all of us. One thing, though. You’d think that after 7 years on the team Winston would finally be promoted to a full-fledged partner. If that third movie ever happens I hope he finally gets his fair share. Thank you for sharing the same enthusiasm all of us have had over the years and for publicly welcoming all of us as fans. You rule!
Annie, although you’re not “one of the guys”, having Janine back at her desk gave this whole experience that extra necessary ounce of credibility. She is the glue that holds the office together and to have anyone else in her chair would have made this entire thing seem more than just a bit off. You are just as important to the Ghostbusters universe as any member of the team and to hear your voice answering the phones made this experience so much more gratifying. We love you and I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say we’re so glad you came back! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
From myself and all of us GBFans, a BIG thank you to everyone who participated in making this game a reality. It is a very welcome gift for those of us who never let go of our love for Ghostbusters and for those who discovered that love once again. A lot of sweat and long hours went into putting this thing together and your work definitely shows. You have made something that we as fans can be proud of and I know I will personally enjoy replaying this game many times in years to come. We, of course, want more. We’re fans after all. But if this happens to be the final time we can experience Ghostbusters at least it is worthy of being the last chapter. Applause and Kudos all around!
