Having watched from Season One through to the end of the Season Seven - it was definately a tremendous delivery of the ‘real time’ format. Having failed miserably, in movies in the past, the series not only locked in the aspect but also kept true to the ‘recipe’ and “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” reigned true.
You may be thinking of Phone Booth with Colin Farrell (sp?). It was a realtime film - following on the heels of 24… and co-starring Kiefer (which we never visually knew until the end). It was well-done, as with the time-aspect, and generally well accepted too.
