I’ve done loads of searches but no luck - can someone point me to links/threads about fixing the pack to the MB? And the MB to the ALICE? I’m getting a MMM board…

You can use “L” brackets to mount the shell to the motherboard, location will depend on your particular shell. ALICE frame mounts thru the two pre cut holes which match up with the holes on the ALICE frame, if your pack is a bit heavier you can always drill another set of holes on the frame crossbar and screw to the motherboard there.

PS: You should be able to buy “L” brackets at the hardware stores in the shelving dept.
The L-bracket attachment on the screen used pack (below) is pretty simple and self explanatory- the shell slips over the L-brackets (that are attached to the mobo) and is secured by machine screws from the sides of the shell. I did the same thing on mine, using L-brackets bought at Home Depot.
Concerning the motherboard/Alice frame connection, if you have a plywood mobo (like me) drill holes in the Alice frame according to what you see in the PH pictures then use steel stand-offs ( also available at Home Depot) to give about a 1" space between the frame and mobo. Then attach everything with long machine screws from the frame, into the stand offs, and into T-nuts that are inserted into the backside of the mobo. If you’re using an aluminum mobo the attatchment is the same but instead of using T-nuts, use a washer and lock nut.

Can anyone post a picture of the screws that go thru the pack and onto the L bracket? I’m gathering the pack has to be easily removeable from the MB for access to the electrics or battery packs?
On the film packs, the L-brackets were tapped so that the screws would thread into the aluminum. If you plan to do the same thing, any length of machine screw would work. I used 1" long 10/32 pan head screws on my pack.
Basically, any type of machine screw will work.

…to be perfectly honest, i didnt feel like reading all the individual post, so i may be repeating an idea. any ways…
what i did is i went to lowes and bought an aluminum piece of angle iron (think thats what its called), its in the section where you can get that, aluminum rods, diamond plate, ect. but then can cut the brackets yourself and drill the holes to fit what ever screws you buy. i drilled my holes just one size smaller so the screw would really grab the aluminum and hold on to it tight.
