How many of you guys go out in public wearing youre Ghost Busters gear when its not Halloween.
I tell you what me and my buddie did it. We went to a make a wish fund raiser but before we even got it the building people started clapping and yelling Go Ghost Busters! As soon as we walked into the building you could see that people have not forgotten about the Ghost Busters. Some would smile others would want to take pictures. But the greatest part of that day was the kids. Most of them didn’t know who we were but they loved the outfits and the lights. After that day I don’t care what anybody says I’ll suit up and hold my head up high. Even if its not Halloween.
Thats great man! I was recently In New York City for the NY Comic con and we cruzed around in my Ecto. I live on long Island so I had to drive an hour berfore I got to the city. Durring the trip people yelled Ghostbusters and were taking pictures. I kept getting nervous that some one was going to crash trying to take a picture. It was a lot of fun! We are also going to do charities. Most for our local Fire department.
That’s awesome!! People at my school, SMU here in Dallas, keep telling that when I finish my pack and uniform and everything I should spend an entire day in my gear. The only problem is sitting in class, where will I put my stuff? I know some people will laugh, but knowing alot of those people there, I will get many cheers, and that for me will be totally worth it, especially the guys in the music building because they all pretty much know what i’m doing lol, I have my Ghostbusters Prop Reference Guide with me all the time!! Haha…people come into my practice room and see it sitting there and are like, mmhmm…haha…I will definately take all my gear up there some day! Maybe the first day of school next year!!! HAHAHA GREAT!!!
I doing something similar, except another movie. BTTF, I am building a Non-Delorean based, temporary time machine. Me and a friend are going to do this halloween, me doc and him as einstein the dog. Of course i also go in the getup on the days mentioned in the movies.
After this I plan on doing the same with Ghostbusters as well.
Once I get my costume together and equipment, I’m planning on spending a couple days on a weekend cruising around town and visiting people. Once I get everything together, we’re going to be doing fanfilms, or cruising around for fun, especially once the EctoStang’s done.
It’s my b’day next month and a group of us are going out in fancy dress around Manchester, here in Northen England, for a days drinking session. I’ve got the costume sorted but am battling to get the proton pack ready in time. It’s getting there though.
Ha, I just hope I don’t get too inebriated and end up falling over backwards on to it. Ouch! :shock: Don’t know which would cause more pain. Broken back or broken pack? :lol:
