GB love + 5 ft. canvas + coupon = Vigo the Carpathian painting. Since i was a little kid I always wanted this, so i decided to just bite the bullet and paint the thing myself.
Its not finished yet. I’ve got about fifteen hours invested in it so far, but here is a progress video and links to the pictures.
its going to be especially terrifying to have in a bedroom at night anyway. I’m doing some UV paint effects when the thing is finished, including glowing eyes and painting a river of blood in the background, which under the UV light, will be a river of slime.
Imagine the level of creepiness it would get were you to use some sort of motion-activated audio device that held his more ominous lines from the game. That would definitely be a neat Halloween prop to have hung up in the home, and would beat the snot out of those similar, but cruder looking store props.
Its funny you mention that because my bro and I are doing a GB yard set up for halloween and i was going to put a plastic sheet over the finished piece and put it on my porch with a UV light to show all the creepy UV effects. Im sure I could figure out some sort of motion device thingy. I’ll have to look into that
