I have a few problems as you can see. First I went a little over kill on my handle hole. Some JB weld filled that in and also secured it well so with a weld line added should look fine. But since that handle had to be so far over becuase of the thickness of the enclosure it has taken up the room for the two toggles and bargraph and label. I’m hoping it will all work out but as soon as Exorays stuff arrives i’ll check it out and go from there. My next problem will be cleaning it all up so that when the two halves are together the seems are well hidden or atleast smooth and making sure I can open it again incase of electronics malfunction. But waiting on more parts and just wanted some feedback. Proping is nothing new to me but the ghostbusters replicas are.
Very novice opinion, looks good man! Everyone makes mistakes- I’ve made the same kind of “over-opening of the hole” on the hinges of a Tricorder I’m building on and off right now… yours looks damn well fixed though!
Basically what I did. Don’t know if I want to go back over it again since the JB enjoyed running into the open space too much or if i’m gonna leave it and just do the weld line over what I got.
Also, used this thin walled inch and a quarter pvc. It’s what best fit my grips and other parts mounted to it and it was lying around my workshop. But, I know find that I cannot find any suitable fittings for it and am trying to find a plastics shop locally to go look at my choices for acrylic tube because I am trying to get the best look and sturdiness I can. Strangely have only found two in the phoenix area so far, amazes me that there aren’t more shops. Atleast I can’t find them. Any AZ ghost heads reading this? lol
Yea, I tri4ed to get together as much as I could first before assembling but there comes a time in every project where you have to shoot the engineer and start production. I did plan out how I would do this and that and as I got to that point changed this and that and it’s working out alright so far. Would def do some things different on my next.

The REXBOX is made of resin by St.LouisKid can’t say if he is a member here but he is at Proptopia…
He only does runs every so often and they are usually limited to what he has on hand…
BTW it’s one of the nicest resin castings you will come across, they are very clean and only require a little bit of clean up… Also his unique 2 part interlocking shell makes getting the guts in a lot easier…
Thanks for the feedback. Yea I like the rexbox but once I find a good way to lock the two halves together will my final verdict be out on it. But as said it does make getting everything into it a lot easier.

I don’t have a lot of experience w/ leds, lighting, etc. How hard was it to do all the lighting and wiring work?

Yes, Exorays lights system is awesome beyond words and work well in any pack install.
They are not hard as long as you take your time and think about what your doing…and also not try to modify too much lol. You can use my pics as ref if you want but there are far better pics on this message board to go off of if you want accuracy. Mine is based mostly on those ref pics but I have gone off the plans for a few things but if it’s what you want your pack to look like be my guest. I should have taken more pics during contrstruction but i was in a bit of a rush and forgot half the time but wouldn’t mind helping anyone with ideas who may want them. Thanks again for your feedback thus far.
Cameras just don’t do the barrel lights (or any of the moving light) justice IMO, as cool as the blue looks it’s really rotating white, orange, white, blue lights but the camera only catches one color…

Well since my kit is all plug and play there is not soldering or setup, the only issues you will have are routing all the wires and cramming it all in the gun… A few blobs of hot glue to hold the LEDs in place and you should be golden…
EDIT: BTW flux, how did routing all the wires up the split loom go? I don’t sell many of the electronics in pack versions of my kit, and although I did test fit all the wire that need to be run in some split loom I have not tested or experienced how it actually turns out once installed all the way…
He’s 100% right. Thats exactly what my deal was. Cramming it all in and then a little hot glue and done. Only thing i have now is with my vibrating module crammed in I dind’t keep it clear of the wires so the the motors are blocked from turning. Keep an eye out for that guys.
