Im curious as to what type of lights I should use to simulate the firing on the Wand for my pack???
I guess that all depends on the effect you want, some people just like the barrel to glow bright white others like flashing effects…
I have seen straight up bright white/red or ? LEDs, alternating flashing LEDs it’s really up to you and the effect you are happy with…
Me personally I use 8 LEDs (2 blue, 2 orange, 4 white) and a real laser module, and if I may pat myself on the back, it’s one of the better effects I have seen…
Exoray, that was awesome! One question though: how far is the light projected from the gun barrel?
I went to Advance and found an accent lighting kit for cars that I think will work pretty well. It’s made by a company called APC. I’ll try to put up a pic in the next couple days but I’ll do my best to describe it.
There are two small rectangluar sets of lights on this thing. They have abut 4 or 5 white leds in them and have a clear plastic cover. There is a small black control box with a red button on it. Each set of lights has two wires running to it. When you press the button, they flash in a strobing pattern.
My plan was to use one of the sets of lights in the body of the thrower as an firing indicator, kind of like the power bargraph in the regular thrower. Then I was going to cut the wires going to the other set of lights and use that to power a super bright white led.

Well it fills up a dark room with flashes and dances a pattern on the wall you are pointing at, the laser goes on and on 
exoray, where did u get the laser module? or how did u make it? b/c i think that would be the coolest thing ever to put in my gun!
Laser pointer would probably work.

As for the laser module I purchase bare modules from one of my overseas suppliers in bulk…
I would suggest Dreamstalker ideas as well for a DIY version, the counter laser pointers are going to be the easiest and cheapest option…
