This design is full rebuild (from scratch) version of the GB:Video Game “We Have The Talent” achievement. This version has different EVERYTHING --hands, eyes, mouth. The proportions of the head and the ghost-tip are all new builds and beyond.
Not only did I recreate the No-Ghost but I re-built the Proton pack asset, built a wand and a ghost trap, made new goggles. added an actual name tape instead of the red rectangle - and had fun building it too. The glow effect was added at the last minute to break up some of the colors as an accent. I’ve yet to add the shadows - I built a PKE meter asset (not pictured) but I didn’t design a belt; probably won’t add the PKE to this one but maybe later if I think of something I want I’ll add it to another one later.
Short of stripping this design down it is too detailed to make into a patch - but it’d make a nice t-shirt.
Which was pretty cool - I like seeing my art randomly appear pretty much anywhere in a positive light. But what made this special, as a matter of fact especially-special was that one of the comments was from Michael Gross himself (I know right OMGWTFBBQ). Michael Gross is the artist of the famous Ghostbusters No-Ghost logo/icon -Not only did he compliment the design but he also provided a suggestion! Took me a day to think of just something to say because I was just flying over the moon super-psyched that he saw my art and made the moment for me.
Oh right, my response:
" Thank You GBFans for posting this on my behalf - I get pretty psyched when I see something I made appear anywhere and appreciate it deeply .. but MAN! Michael Gross, the man who breathed life into the original No-Ghost logo/icon commenting and critiquing my work; that IS awesome.
That’s like a singer who gets a thumbs up or a high sign of praise from a rock star they like - thank you, that made my everything.
Thanks and much respect to GFans.com, thanks to all the Ghostbuster fans in general for the constructive feedback.
When I have time (SOON) I will rework/update this design so hit up GBFans.com for the update!
This version was made based on THE direct recommendation from the man himself (Michael C Gross). I took the Ghost Trap away but kept the Neutrona Wand and applied the core values of a reputable business. Originally I was going to use the ones by the United States Military but instead I opted for a different set of core values geared more towards Corporate Business vibe.
