Whats the best way to attach the thower to the hose

I had a look though but and find the answer I need

I should have my thower compleated by tonight, but im worries dow i’m going to attach it to the hose

the of the hose is slightly smaller than the ID of the thower handle

so i’ll need to wrap it in tape or somthing

Any idea and help would be great

Cool you’ve got your thrower finished mate, does this mean you’ll be wearing your new pack at LFCC?

I attached mine by wrapping tape around the tubing and pushing it into the handle. It stops the tube coming out but still allows it to twist with the handle which prevents the tubing from kinking.

Yeah the hose will be slightly smaller OD than the rear barrel’s ID. What I did was I drilled a small hole, you can either do the side or underneath of the barrel, and simply twisted a small screw through barrel and hose (I used a thick, rubber hose for the inside of my hose loom, so it stuck very well).

What I did, was take some soft packing foam, and wrap that around the end of the hose, securing it with duct tape. Make it fit snug inside the back pipe of your gun.

I then covered the duct tape in black electrical tape in case any showed at all.. that give you a very easy removable connection for your gun.

This can work for hoses with wiring, or hoses connecting to the thrower without wiring as well. (I like removing our guns easily for transport, or repairs or improvement work.)

I fed the hose all the way through the handle and screwed it in place from inside the body of the gun. It’s working good so far.

I cut a 3" piece from a wooden dowel, drilled a hole through it for wiring, then inserted all but half an inch into the hose and taped the exposed end to the hose with some electrical tape. Insert the dowel end of the hose into the rear barrel, then drill a hole on the bottom of the barrel into the hose and dowel to insert a socket cap screw.

What I did in the end was I got about a inch of the tube I used for the handle cut a bit out if it

put the hose inside that, compressed it and pushed it into the handle

It was a tight snug fit and it didnt want to fallout

but i put a small self tapper through the handle, sleave and hose just in case.

it should be done by today should be wearing it at any con after this weekend
