Where do you get packs stickers on vinyl?
Prop Fan sells them. I’ve also seen some on eBay before.
or you can get the images and print them out from http://www.hprops.com/labels/
I was also wondering about vinyl stickers. Has anyone had them done at Kinkos? I believe they offer self-adhesive vinyl printing.
The reason I’m asking is that I’m working with a guy who has a vinyl printer right now and I thought we could print some up a sell em, but I wanted to know if someone was already making them available and how much they were charging. I had a hard time finding them so I take that to mean they aren’t that accessible. Also the stickers I’ve seen available for printing are completely different from one another I don’t know which are more accurate or if it’s a combination of the two. So I was also looking for a wish list from gbfans of the ideal sticker sheet before I get started creating them. I’m going to make some for my kid sized proton packs so I figure I might as well make the adult size at the same time. Maybe I should start a new thread about what the most accurate stickers are?
Hi KK!
I got Avery waterproof stickers for shipping. It is two hald page stickers, so you have to watch the seam down the middle. It has a nice semi-gloss sheen to it (I have a color laser printer) and they have a little more strength than regular paper (and won’t curl up/crumble if they get wet) hope that helps
I’m not looking to buy ant I’m looking to make them and make them more available to people on vinyl instead of paper.
but thanks anyway.
i might be up for a set ![]()
sorry KK, read the thread afterword. Good luck with that–those stickers would be really cool for the high end packs around here. : )
I think that hprops are pretty much accurate. If I had to print some, that’s what I’d bring to the vinyl company for printing; this said, I had a propfan sheet that was a friend’s extra, so I think I’m pretty much covered.
remember:
if you make them, they’ll sell.
I’ve always wanted to carry them.. so if you get something worked out let me know.
(Just don’t sell Ken aka HProps labels without his permission!)
What would be the best reference for getting the stickers accurate? Can anyone give me a wish list for pack stickers?
These labels are accurate:
With the exception of the Clippard label.. on is susposed to be a R-331.
Thanks AJ!
Hey Guys,
Could you check the accuracy of these stickers for me?

looks perfect how much will you be selling them for? im down depending on price
Well just a quick once over and I can tell you that the Clippard labels are still wrong, I’ll detail it shortly as I’m leaving the shop right now…
OK for the Clippard labels the top one should remain the same as it is on Ken’s original template being an R701…
The bottom one should be a R331 but the whole label is actually wrong, not just the number the whole right half is completely wrong for an R331…
My advice just leave it as is unless someone wants to recreate a correct R331 label…
Also some of the labels are “metalic” the white writing on the Clippard labels is actually silver foil, I don’t know if you want to try and replicate a faux foil look or leave it as white…
Thanks guys!
I’ll work on a simulated mettalic color for the Clippard but I still haven’t found a picture of what the 331 is supposed to look like. If anyone has a link to a pic let me know.
Ehh.
Don’t copy Ken’s labels.
Which ones are Ken’s Labels?
Are they the ones you posted the link of?
I thought those were copies of the original stickers?
Are you saying not to reference those because they are not accurate or because they are considered intellectual property?
I’m confused.
I want the stickers to look as much like the originals as possible but if Ken’s are copies of the originals how is it possible to make them without them being the same?
I don’t want to step on any toes or piss anyone off, so what do I do?
Yeah. Ken’s (Volguus, HProps.. etc) are the ones I linked to. They are very accurate, except one of the Clippard valves needs to be a R-331 (not both).
They were done by him, and shouldn’t be copied 1:1 without his permission. (If they are to be sold) They can be printed off and used for personal use without any problems though.
It looks like you just cut and pasted the labels from his file and re-arranged them. If not.. my mistake.
