(yes this my pack, I bought it today, I just want to do a couple upgrades on it or hire someone to do them.)
I know it will need a speaker and amp(what kind of amp i don’t know) but i think the pack already has the buttons
Also how hard is it to install the sound kit(will i have to take the whole pack apart, is there a lot of wiring)
or should I just buy
the Pack: Amplified Sound Board here(although May 31 ship doesn’t give me much time to find someone to install it if I need to), what is needed to install this one and which one would be easier to install.
Also any advice on sound(what is needed, how to install, skill level needed, does the pack need to be take completely apart) would be appreciated.
Also as i am sure everyone can see the ad it is missing the gun tip assembly is there anywhere to get that?
Thank-You for all your help, and thank you all for your help in trying to hook me up with a pack.
That’s the Heavy Prop sound board. You can install it in any pack as long as you have the correct switches. A tutorial can be found here:
You get to skip a lot of the parts and complicated wiring by buying the Heavy Props kit, which will make it much easier for you.
Do you have a deadline for getting a pack ready by?
The GBFans soundboard and Heavy Props kits are both about equally as easy to install. Attach a battery and speaker, some switches and you’re good to go. The GBFans kit has one benefit in that it doesn’t require the special switches in order to operate.
I need it June 19th for a 30th anniversary showing at my local theater, also would i need need to order the Light Kit Adapter Board also and what wires, batter clip and cables would i need?
I would prefer to order it here if it helps support the site.
The light adapter board will only work with the GBFans light kits. You would need to check and see if the pack you purchased includes GBFans lights or not. (It probably does not.)
You’d ultimately need to get your pack first, and take it apart and see what you’re working with.
Remember, sound is awesome, but not having it is not going to ruin your experience at the 30th Anniversary!
Yes. You can tap into your triggers and use the GBFans Sound Board. You can also rewire the board to allow the kits to all share the same battery pack through the same power junction.
