I posted in another thread about this but I figured I’d make a real one here with updates.
I’m working on a Diorama for a Lego Expo in Brisbane (Australia) in October this year.
It will (hopefully) consist of
- Ghostbusters Firehouse
- Ecto-1
- All 4 Original Ghostbusters and Slimer
- Stay Puff Marshmallow Man
A small street would accompany it with a little alley next to the GB Firehouse containing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles facing off vs Shredder and The Foot, A Haunted House, some decrepit NY style buildings and a Town Hall with a Batman vs Bane showdown from the end The Dark Knight Rises out the front.
The Ghostbusters would be facing down Stay Puff who would be attacking the GB HQ with Ecto-1 Parked out front and a small police roadblock with a crowd watching.
So far I have started work on the Firehouse which I’m waiting on a bulk order of parts to complete further, and Ecto-1 which is 90% complete, it needs some work on the back end\fins and I’m awaiting some new parts to improve the siren\lights.
I also made custom Ghostbusters characters using waterslide decals and in the case of Venkmans hair, filing down a lego hair piece to form his unique hairline. I need to redo his face however as it’s printed slightly too large and looks a bit off.
