I remember the time I recall my school years, I did have some good and some bad ones. Not all of them were bad, but some of the worst years was the 6th grade 10th and 12th grades.
6th grade
Didn’t do too well on math
New principal Mrs Osmund
We had assigned seats in the cafeteria for the whole year for no reason.
Ms. Osmund yelled at me for no reason what’s so ever.
10th grade
I failed Basic Algerbra and I had to retake the class in my junior year.
There were too many fights.
I almost got a detention for leaving when my school had a threat that day and my mom came and got us. But I got signed out.
No Winterfest Dance it kept getting cancelled and we only had one dance that year it was homecoming. My school tried to do a Spring Fling but that got cancelled as well.
12th
We had a teacher’s strike for almost the whole first quater. The kids were acting wild and crazy. Someone threw a tv down the stairs and more fights and trash cans were set on fire.
My Principal Ms. Houchins got a bit meaner and she wouldn’t allow us to have a drill team or do a senior prank. It’s not that I want to do one anyway.
The Senior Class didn’t get to do much. No Senior Fashion Show, No Senior Car Wash. We didn’t get to go on any Senior Trips which that bites. And also We didn’t have Grad Night at Geauga Lake.
No Battle of the Classes.
Those were some of the school years that I had ever had. But I passed and graduated I’m glad. Do you have any worst years?
Jeez, your schools all sound like the movies, senior pranks, car washes and fashion shows.
My high school was down right ghetto. No hall monitors, just security guards and cops. Lockers were first come first serve due to the fact that we had just under 4,000 students (with 5 other high schools in the same 10 mile radius), not to mention said “locker” was really just a hair bigger than a shoe box. No windows in the main building…at all, we did have a planetarium but it hadn’t been renovated since the school opened in 1970, so it was actually closed at one point because it was “unsafe for occupancy”. All the vending machines were in huge metal cages after the food riot of 2001. Fights happened everyday, multiple times a day, sometimes with weapons involved. Kids had sex in the baseball and softball dugouts so during practice we’d have to have someone clean up used condoms and shit for us, rofl. LOL, pregnant girls in my classes.
There were days where kids would just randomly run around and rip every exit sign they could reach out of the roof, or there was a day where half of the 3rd floor in the main building flooded because someone thought it would be a good idea to rip a sink out of the boys bathroom and throw it into the hallway.
I used to buy drugs out of the student parking lot…shit was retarded. I could go on for days about it.
When I was a Hall Monitor my senior year, I was ambushed doing a round of the parking lot by several kids who tossed fruit my way.
And nearly got pummeled by a girl larger than me for not knowing where the school kept their tampons.
Other horror stories: had to help a kid who was having a seizure up and contain him, even though I had know idea what the fook I was doing and hoped I didn’t kill him (which I didn’t, thanks to a student who knew a little more than I did), and stop a bunch of other kids from slamming the door on his head (as a joke they said, as they didn’t know he was epileptic).
Let’s see, this one wasn’t so bad: this kid I knew spray-painted the No-Ghost on the senior wall…on my suggestion hehehe. The only bad part was that everyone knew I was a major Ghosthead in school so I got suspended for being a possible conspirator, and was banned from the computers for the rest of the year and couldn’t wear my GB shirts. The outline of the logo is still there though…
Wow LOL. In the 4th grade I had a teacher named Mrs. Luffler. She was really mean and used to pick on everyone even me alot. She wasn’t a likeable person. She was a real biscuit. I don’t swear. She lost her temper alot, too.
In 5th grade, my friend Quantavia jumped this girl Jessica, and cut off her hair with her dad’s surgical scissors she brought to school, and then came to class the next day with Jessica’s hair braided into her own. She wore like a trophy.
I know its kinda random but I just remembered I once had a teacher by the name of Mrs. Kruger :angryvigo: when I lived in Michigan. She was actually very nice.
