Yes........Have some........

Here is my version of a Louis Tully (hope its spelled it right ). He is made from a Rick Moranis action figure of the “second city” television character. I think it was from “the great white north”. It came with him dressed in a thick coat, ski hat, beers, beer cases and a chair. When i saw the figure i just had to convert him into Louis Tully. He was in a sitting position already, so i wanted to make him into the scene when he gets examined by Egon.( like you didnt know that already). Anyway, the hardest part was using my exacto to carve away the heavy coat. Next i carved away the ski hat. I then used Apoxie sculpt to sculpt the strainer on his head and to smooth out the body to look like he has a shirt on instead. I also sculpted the strap that goes across his chin.. that portion of the prop always cracked me up. I made the glasses by cutting out the shape on a thin piece of baseball protector plastic. I cut three pieces out of the plastic to form the frame and then glued the frame together with crazy glue. (just a schmidgen… or else the plastic will craze.) I had a small coffee cup thats actually glazed ceramic. I bought it a loooong time ago and by luck it fit nicely in his hand. The scale looks very close to the action figures that came out not too long ago. … Now all we need are the fab four. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/sidneythetrekker/album?.dir=b510

So original !!! You make me smile… but wow.

Nice work

Sweet!

Inside joke below:

You: “Do you want some chocolates?”

Me: “Do I?”

You: “Yes, have some.”

Me: “Yes, have some.”

You now have proven your skills of an artist. Next, of course, is to make that TORG!

That, my friend, is AWESOME!!! I’ve seen the Second City figure you started out with. What you did with it is amazing. Great Job!

Many Shubbs and Zuuls will know what it’s like to roast in the depths of the Sloar now, I can tell you.

Beauty job on the custom there, eh. Geez, it never occured to me to do that to the Bob MacKenzie figure before, but now it makes all the sence in the world. Hats, er, toques off to you!

  1. :!: Awesome!!! Now get another one and sculpt it so you can pose him like he is running from a terror dog, seriously a two-packed Louis Tully and Terror Dog!!! That would make my day!!!

If someone were able to find some of those SNL figures and do one to mr. aykroyd, that’d be neat. Thats the only way I figure you’d find a…figure…of him.
