1:6 ECTO for 12" figures

HELLO guys, as some may know, i began customizing 12" figures of ghostbusters, so one day i decided i was going to make a 1:6 ecto so they can go and catch some ghosts… The first thing was to find a base… so afther researching a lot, i went to the wonderfull world of ebay and found this:

as it arrived i noticed it was similar to the Ecto, but had it´s differences and challenges… for instance, the doors didn´t open, the front was completely different-- had no roof, and the side red wings weren´t present-.-- so a LOT of work had to be done…

So here is a litle bid of the process i had to go through…ofcourse i got some help… but this baby was remodeled from scratch

I had to reinforce the base so it could hold the roof and roof rack

tell me what you think

It looks a lot like the one posted in a video recently, but looks good.

Beautiful work . I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

I laughed so much at this.

I have no idea why.

Looking great so far!

One thing though, I don’t think it’s wide enough. I dunno, maybe I’m just seeing it wrong in it’s current state.

because it’s essentially Winston meets Too Wong Fuu?

Its not long enough if anything. A 1/6 Scale Ecto-1 needs to be 3 and a half feet long.. and probably 15 inches wide.

The size comparison is alot like the kenner figures to that ecto. All this one needs is a chair on top and a grappling hook.

AND THEN…

I know it’s NOT the proper scale like AJ stated. . . , but it’s huge as it is.. The back doors don open so it can only fit 2 ghostbusters. The cool thing is that the sirens work, and the lights work as well.

Here is a litle video i did about it, hope you like it.

At first I thought this was a really dumb project, and looked incredibly silly.

And now… it’s beautiful.

Edit: I still refuse to believe that right-side tank is green.

That pic with Pete hanging out the window is great!

That is AMAZING!

Wow. What an amazing job! Looks awesome

i like this one better

Hehehehehe… thanks i guess… and yes, the tank IS green, at least in the ecto that is touring , the pics are in the reference section.
