As much as I am itching for new stuff/info/whatever about this game, I’m going to pass on this. Watching an extended play-through I think would take too much of the new-ness away when I’m actually playing it myself. Clips I’m all for, but this is just a little much. Roll on, June.
Yeah. I plan on watching, but if it gets too spoiler-ific, then I’ll just turn it off. Hopefully it’ll just be some gameplay vids with no story spoilers.
+1. I don’t mind a few spoilers coming out before the full game is released, but at this point I would like to be the one playing the game when it is “spoiled” for me.
Did anyone read any of the questions people put in the forums to have answered when the video goes live?
I know that there are people out there who aren’t following the game as obsessively as we GB fans, but some of them are questions that could easily be answered by simply looking the game up online. I mean seriously… \
I just find it amusing that there are so many sources of information for the game, yet people are too lazy to do the research. instead they pose these questions to someone else playing the game … and there is no guarantee that the questions will be answered.
I’m half tempted to sign in to their forums and answer all the questions myself, but I wouldn’t want to appear as if i were trying to take the limelight away from the 1Up guys. lol
I might watch this. But if it is the whole game and it gets too spoilerific, I’ll stop watching after the library stage… One the one hand, when I get the game I want to be able to know what I’m doing. On the other hand, knowing EVERYTHING to the game before it comes out kills half (if not all) the fun…
I wouldn’t necessarily say it kills any of the fun… i mean, i can sit & watch a friend play a game and get bored out of my mind watching everything they do but the moment it’s my turn I still have a blast. Granted you’re not watching a friend play & you know you’re not getting your own turn… so that can kill SOME of the fun, but even if you watch a video of someone playing the game from beginning to end… It’ll ruin the plot and surprises and dialogue, but i seriously doubt it’ll kill the fun.
They’ve begun the broadcast. They just finished the slimer at the sedgewick ballroom level.
Edit: Strike that… they just cut the broadcast. That must’ve just been a test. They’ve got about 20 minutes left until it’s officially supposed to start.
They just showed some of the Times Square level, but now they’re switching over to the Wii version. So far, they’re doing their best to remain relatively spoiler-free…
