I work for a games company as a 3D artist and i Started this the other evening, im going to build and render a scene piece from the 1st movie, im also gathering reference for ecto 1. im looking for a good blueprint. i have only found hand drawn ones so any help would be ace.

hey yes i do use those plans, had to make a massive psd file with them on and build it from there. just a few extra bit to make then will update progress

I see, since Stefan produced those plans a few more details have been discovered, one of the most significant being a 15th rectangular plate surrounding the cyclotron.

Agreed. This looks awesome so far.
Just a few suggestions. The real packs don’t have any really sharp edges, so I think your edges could afford to be rounded down a tad. That, and the top of the gearbox has a very gentle slope to it, if I remember correctly. Everything else is amazing work. Great attention to detail!!

Thats looking good, I thought of making the pack and trap myself sometime to add as a modeling piece to my demo reel. Out of curiosity whats 3d package are u using?

Its Maya and the render is just a basic occlusion render.
im currently making the gun but working with maya all day make me not want to at home, will post some next week when its more complete
