awesome!
And the “intensify” and “activate” labels go OVER the switches! Asides from that, it’s perfect. ![]()

That’s really cool! Nice work.
when you say “some in game engine renders…” what game is it for?
Hey guys, forgot to post my 90% finished pack on here.
Also started on a digital sculpt of ray.
as well as the fire house.
I am currently looking for some high rez images of the fire station so i can get some correct textures and at a decent rez, All the images on the web have digital noise or to low rez.
Cheers
Do you have a wip thread over at ZbrushCentral for Ray?
Looks good
Even better now that I went to the next page. Lol
any way i could get the 3d files off of you? i want to break it down into parts and separate files and send it off to be printed out of either aluminum or heavy duty plastic and make a real proton pack. my email is [email protected]
Adam using rapid prototyping for a pack would cost you far more than buying a good shell and repro parts. A 6 inch figure can cost you $600 alone, which is already more than the cost of the best pack shell out there.
Unless of course you already own 3d printing equipment that can do something 2 and a half feet tall.
I know how much it would cost but i found a place that will even make the entire model in stainless steel and if i keep the walls thin enough (mininum of 3mm) they can replicate the entire thing… it is 8 bucks per cubic cm but it would be awesome to have a replica that is made out of stainless steel then painting it black and letting the black wear off on its own showing the real metal base. plus with working lights and sound and a possible vibrate function in the wand will set the whole thing off.
If you have a huge pile of cash laying around for it, more power to ya!
You don’t need to 3d print it…you could split it into components and have it CNC machined from aluminium
That would probably cost more than 3d printing.
