So I was going to edit my first post here but its locked so I do my story here!
Background- I’m a retired Chrysler master tech who builds, races & restores cars (both old school Mopars and turbo FWD Dodges) with a wide background in drafting, machining, electronics, plumbing, auto, business and home repair, welding, fabricating… well lots of different things. Never afraid of trying anything new!
I have a wide range of interest from vintage 3dfx PC hardware, car modification and history, home repair, guns, politics, just about anything interesting.
So just how did I end up here?
Well I was out costume shopping with the kids and saw a Ghostbusters costume on the rack at Target and thought the whole inflatable pack things was kinda wonky and thought to myself, I can do better than that!
With 30 days to go to Halloween I set out to not only colelct the needed pieces for a Ghostbusters costume but to build myself a Proton pack for good measure.
I have never done any props before, but turns out i’m facinated by the whole process just as much as getting a vintage car “just right” and already working on picking up pieces to build my next pack…
I’m going to finish this scratch built pack and keep it before “taking it to the next level” on my next.
And make a ghost trap if matty doesn’t have another sale, and a pick pack for my daughter.
Next Halloween I plan to go out with not just myself but the whole family! This year was a riot!
