Well I was up last nite, couldn’t sleep, and was watching ghostbusters on dvd,decided what the hell, I was going to draw. What started out as a simple sketch, turned into a pretty good little drawing, took me about 3 hours to do. Let me know what you guys think, even if you think it sucks(i’m always open to to ways to improve) Anyways i have some other pics i’ll scan up later time permitting

yeah man..id say better than me…i have trouble doing stuff just at the spurr of the moment kinda thing…stuff like this…also with doing it cartoon like…looks amazing…more more more…i need to see more art lol

Wow thanks guys, I was honestly a little nervous about posting, but I feel a lot better now, i’ll post some more pics here tomorrow. Also if you can think of something I should draw let me know, i’m always open to ideas.

Yes that is probably the most detailed drawing of gear I’ve ever seen. I’d love to see a Ecto drawing. There’s plenty of reference photos on here. When I was drawing alot I was never good at any living object only machines and buildings. So I’m pretty envious of anyone who can draw people.
Well thanks for all the kind words fellas, now in the future when l draw things I wont be affraid to share them. Now I don’t have a picture of Ecto-1, but I have a copy of a picture I drew up for spook central about 2 years agothat has it in it, a little tribute peice it’s like a mix of the real ghostbusters cartoon and the movie.( keep in mind that this is drawn on a normal sheet of 8 1/2 by 11 so all those details are that small. let me know what you think, I have a few paint shop drawings over there at spook central in the fan art section as well.
Isn’t it about time we set up a fan art section? somewhere we can all try our hand at a bit of GB inspired artwork, you know?

i dont wanna take away from the original posters art or anything since this is his thread…this is just a picture of the actual drawing..i dont have a scanner so it does look blurry …but thats the best i can do with my crappy camera
if you want me to just tell me and i will take it down right away since this is a thread for youre work…and that drawing is awsome…i love the movie/ cartoon look

thanks man…i mainly just draw stuff that is already there…i ahve trouble with the imagination part of it..once in a while when i have a burst of energy i can though…but seriously i like your work..its great..inspires me to try harder at drawings like that

only the firehouse, the logo, and the containment unit are ones that i drew myself…well im not sure the logo really counts though…i did trace the original logo first but that was only because i wanted it perfect…the rest of the drawings are from around the internet, and the slimer was from the back of the 04’ comics…the don knotts pic was done as a tribute right after he died…i also have a buyer for that hahaha

thanks man..im looking foward to seeing more of your work…the ecto-1 would be ALOT more detailed if i had drawn it bigger…i did that on just regular inkjet printer paper…thats all i had at the time…thats all have right now is a big pack of it..im gonna try and find more of my pics tonight and post them…maybe ill even draw something new just for this…
oh and what would you have in mind to work on
