Here’s a little sneak peak of a project I’m working on…
I guess I should clarify what the heck this is…
It’s a practice Ghostbusters miniature sculpture, (35mm), done with a two-part putty clay from Kneadtite called “green stuff”-- hence the color. It cures in about an hour, so working is fairly brisk. The boots and hands, (or hand, as you can see-- only one is complete), are done with other types of clay to get a feel for what works the best.
The reason I say it’s a practice piece is to get a feel for the subject matter before starting on the actual sculpts I’ll be doing-- all four of the original GB’s in more dynamic poses and, you know, painted. They will actually be made as Heroclix, fully compatible with the game system from Wizkids/Neca. Once they are finished, I will make molds and reproduce them. I will be offering them as a set, with a special bonus figure for the first orders placed. Even if you have no idea what the game is, they will still be pretty slick for any collectors.

Dude! That’s awesome! Will you have them with you at SDCC this year? Put me on the list for when they’re finished.
Just a “small” update-- the proton pack. This is about 2 hours total work time, and is the size of my pinky nail from base to tip.
Just noticed-- I still need to add the ribbon cable.
Not quite ready to show the actual figures-- they are looking pretty great, though. It’s really tough getting all the actor’s likeness at this scale, (these are my first miniature sculptures ever).
