I know I know, the scramble for halloween is on!
I was curious, just in case I can’t find one… is there anything that can be used as an alternative to the alice pack frame? Has anyone ever built their own out of pvc or something similar?
In a rush for the holidays I had considered just using some padding of some sort to keep the pack pushed away from my back… and get some green straps from a army surplus store.
Anybody have any other ideas?

dude get them on ebay for $22 shipped. that’s what i did. they must have hundreds of them because they’re used.
Well thanks guys… I still have to check the local shops… I was just asking. It’s just something about me that I can’t avoid, I always have to ask, “is this the BEST way? or the ONLY way?”

i used a camping back pack frame for packs a couple of years now…till I broke down and bought a alice frame. So if you need an alternative, that will work just fine
