I recently checked my supply of parts to make these GB style 1 Ecto Goggles and I have enough to make several of them.

I’m going to go ahead and start working on them in a couple of weeks, and I like to know if anyone is interested? In addition, I’m also going to be making the 10 sets of the Ecto Lenses and the aluminum plates.

Ecto Goggles

The Ecto Goggles will include the following parts:

  1. AN/PVS-5a frame

  2. Real snaps

  3. D-ring clamp

  4. Belt buckle

  5. Head Straps

  6. Metal front and back plate

  7. Acrylic lenses

  8. Ecto lenses

  9. Battery cap

  10. AZ spidey’s Ecto Goggle sticker and foam padding kit

The frame of the Ecto Goggles were perfectly pressure casted from a real AN/PVS-5a Night Vision Goggles, the battery caps were metal casted and they are functional, and the Ecto Lenses are made from aluminum anodized in black. The Ecto Goggles will sell as one complete unit, all you have to do is to put them on and have fun.

Note: I’m working on the CNC code for a “control panel” that will possibly add the details of the radar, search bar, MAX, and the serial number inside the frame of the goggles. This will be sold separately once the design is completed.

The price for the Ecto Goggles will be $300.00

Ecto Lenses

The Ecto Lenses will include the following parts:

  1. Aluminum long and short towers anodized in black

  2. Acrylic lenses

  3. 3x non knurled lens pins

  4. 2x locks casted in black from my original parts

The price for the Ecto Lenses will be $150.00

US shipping will be $ 8.00 (flat fee)

International shipping will be $8.00 (flat fee)

Ecto Aluminum Plates

The Ecto aluminum plates are CNC milled and will include the following:

  1. Front plate

  2. Back plate

  3. 4 screws for installing the plates together

**Note: **The Ecto goggle frame in the picture will not be included or sold separately.

The price for the Ecto aluminum plates will be $25.00

I just wanted to chime in here in favor of Franchesky’s awesome goggles. I supplied the goggle frames for him with all the original DOT snaps and metal battery holders.

Thank you Neal for including those pictures into the thread. I completely forgot about them.

By the way CONGRATS and thank you for the info you provided in the PM.

This is an old project Neal, AZ spidey, and I worked hard in order to provide these high quality GB1 Goggles.

I have since updated some of the components to make them better than ever. I’m hoping the code for the “control panel” work out and it’s not hard to make so we can add the final details.

I’m also going to be making GB 2 Goggles so stay tune.

I just wanted to let everyone that I started an interest list at the end of the first post.

I’m going to get my anodizing tanks ready and hope to have at least 3 sets of these Ecto lenses anodized by next week. I’ll be posting updates and pictures on this thread and if there anyone else that might be interested, feel free to post on this thread.

Definitely before Halloween. I’m going to start milling parts this weekend and installing them on the frames to decrease the wait time on this run.
