Something I’ve always wondered but have never read anything about or seen with Ghostbusters was this. Are there scenes that were filmed but cut - that we know about? So often with movies (especially with Star Wars and the like) there are scenes that fans know were filmed but haven’t been seen. Even if it’s just a rumor about a scene that may have been filmed, it’s interesting. The one that comes to mind was from Return of the Jedi. For YEARS people talked about a possible scene where Luke was working on his lightsaber. That always fascinated me.
Do we know of or are there rumors of any scenes that were filmed for Ghostbusters but have yet to be released? This topic may have been addressed before but I was unable to locate anything at all. I’d love to know what people know, or what the rumors are about this with Ghostbusters.

Thanks AJ, yes those are very very cool! I love the DVD and the extras. What I’m asking about is if there were other scenes that were filmed but we haven’t seen yet? Anything at all in the rumor mill or that has becoming legendary to fans?
I always love movie lore like this. It was fun talking about all the “lost” scenes from Star Wars or Indiana Jones and such. Just thought this might be interesting if anyone knew info on it.
There’s a few others in gb1 such as the “fort detmerring scene”, the ecto 1 burning a parking ticket, Louis in the park possessed scaring the ■■■■ out of some gang, a possible scene of egon and ray working on equipment, and the chinatown ghost bust. Those and the criterion/dvd deleted scenes are all that are known.
