Best place to eat a great meal

Been watching alot of food network and was wondering where’s the best place to grab a bite to eat in your location.

If you are in Honolulu and just finished surfing in waikiki, you’ve got to check out rainbow drive in. Zippy’s is pretty popular, but i wouldnt say its the best food. I myself like japanese food at the Gyotaku restraunt.

well, if i was in hawaii, i would head over to analoha (kauai) go to duane’s ono char burger.

but here in galena… i would say arcadia (seafood), fried green tomatoes (italian), and the log cabin (steak and chops)

Well if seafood works for you

Bob Chinn’s Crab House, Wheeling, Ill.

Usually they are in the top 10 independent US Restaurants list…

Or Portillo’s if you into the hotdog stand style food…

It’s about an hour south of where I live, in Middlebury, Indiana I believe. It’s a place called Das Dutchman Essenhaus…best god damned (broasted) chicken ever! Amish style cooking at its finest.

just the name of that place makes me salivate. BEST HOTDOGS EVER!!!

Mcdicks at least twice a week, gotta keep the body fat on somehow! :vinzclortho:

Tonics, Moxie’s or Recardo’s is a good way to empty your wallet around here, but the food is awesome!

In St. Louis, for cheap, great portions and alcoholic beverages that come in something appropriately named “Fishbowl” drinks, go to Rigazzi’s Italian Restaurant.

Expensive after 10pm, or before 8am but breakfast food and damn good too, Uncle Bill’s.

Then, of course, romantic evening or celebrating something great- Melting Pot fondue… awesome cheese fondue and great drinks. Awesome mojito.

'Nuff said!

Waffle House. Seriously. I’ve never left that place unhappy.

Ask your waitress nicely for a paper hat like the cooks sometimes wear. They’ll usually fork a couple over if a manager isn’t around. Also, check out some of the titles on the jukebox. “I Saw Elvis at the Waffle House” is a good one.

One of my favorite places is The Magic Lamp Inn in Rancho Cucamonga, California…

The Chateaubriand is to die for!

Cool topic. There are tons of places that I can mention, but this places still takes the steak!

It’s a grill-your-own (see photos) meat place that is hands down some of the best service/menu/price I’ve ever encountered. A real hidden gem!

hey hawaiiangb…if you like indian food, go check out india cafe off of kapahulu in kilohana square…its bloody good. kilohana square is across where the old kc. drive in was.

I’ve only been in Southeast Missouri for six months so I am still looking around, but so far the N’Orleans is a great place to spend some cash.

But back home, in Dayton, Ohio, there was this great place called the China Cottage. Their potsticker could cause you to hallucinate…wonder what they put in there? If you want pizza, you can’t go wrong with Marion’s Pizza; thin, chewy crust and the best sausage I’ve ever had on a pie. The rest of the great places have either closed or lost their way. Sadly, the franchises have become numerous and are annoying. But there are franchises I miss being in Missouri: Big Boy, Skyline, LaRosa’s. I make trips home monthly just to go there sometimes.

Wendy’s!!! I am addicted to that double bacon cheddar jalapeño thing.

I was just in Kailua, Oahu this past weekend. My family and I had burgers at Teddy’s… The best burgers in Hawaii.

New York Pizza. Hands down.

Once you’d have it, nothing compares to it.

I dunno…Giordano’s is damn fine 'zza…

Sounds Authentic. There’s very few places outside of NY That I’ll eat Pizza. When I was in North Carolina it was pathetic.

no way. maybe the best on oahu. im pretty sure duane’s ono char on kauai can give them a run for their money; if they dont beat them that is. and i know duane has won many awards in cooking competitions.
