Bought G&B uniform for $50

So I found a Gibson and Barnes tan uniform on eBay for $50. It seemed like it was used by someone who was actually serving in the military or other job that required a jumpsuit (there were other style suits for sale by the seller in the same size and I found a lead pencil in the arm holder). I immediately investigated to see if it 1. was the real deal and 2. if it would fit me. Pictures showed the G&B tag and it is the correct suit. It’s a 42T and I’m 5’6" but it actually fits better than my size large Rothco. I have a couple questions dealing with accuracy. First, I noticed it had a tiny black G&B tag near the main zipper. Those of you with these suits, what do you normally do with these? Second, the Velcro is on the chest and impedes on the chest pocket. Since the name tag is more towards the main zipper it will probably not cover the whole piece of Velcro. Again, ideas? Third, on the left arm there is a flap that covers the spot that holds pens/pencils. Is that movie accurate or not? I think I might have stumbled on a gold mine here. G&B for $50?!

I was a little excited when I realized it fit.

Looks great! Get a seam ripper and remove the chest Velcro. Sew your name patch on your chest and live happily with your $300 jumpsuit that you scored for$50.

sweet score! Fits great too, lucky.

What about the flap over the pen/pencil slot on the left arm? Is that suppose to be there?

I cut mine off and very carefully unstitched the velcro. I kept the piece so I could see how much dye my nomex took. Not very much.
