Yes. Having been a “supplier” to many ‘clients’ in Europe, I ordered a total of 12 Neutrino Wands, all told. The ‘motor issues’ with the wands was an issue with many of them. Even the one I bought for myself has a ‘tentative’ motor. The first time you try to extend it, it goes almost all the way out… but not quite, and won’t ‘fire’. A second press of the extend lever, the tip retracts. Upon the second try (and every time thereafter), the tip extends as far as it’s supposed to, fires, and retracts normally when the lever is pushed to do so. Seems these tip-motors need to be ‘warmed-up’ to work right. Or ‘broken in’ at the very least.
Thank MadKidJedi. Personally, I love the Matty wand. Although, I think that vibration feature should have been equipped with an off switch. Other than that. I’m going to be using it for my first pack build this year. The pack will have lights, but next year ill upgrade it with a sound kit, and proper thrower.
No… I actually abandoned the idea when I decided I could fairly easily build a “Spengler Hook” V-Hook myself from some pieces of aluminum I picked out of the trash at work. Check that out here: GBFans.com
