I was looking for parts for my Pack I’m about to build, then I hit a snag looking for the booster frame. As I searched around, I stumbled upon this website where it offers free samples of it’s floor mats…
It looks like the right piece for the booster frame, but I’m not sure if they’re sending a sample of the rubber or the actual section of the mat that is required for the frame. If they do send the actual section as a sample, then maybe we can all get free booster frames! lol I just thought I would share this, I’m not telling you to jump in the water first or anything like that.
To those that have their pack already, where did you get your booster frame?
what you have linked shows to be 1/2" thick material so it is far to big to be used on the booster frame. The ribbing on the actual frames are from floor mat.
As far as getting them, there are many members here that offer their own resin versions.
If you chose to build yourself you will need some masonite for the frame (also used for the pattern on the ribs) as well as some pencils and the closest thing you can find to that style floor mat. Alternatives to the real mat would be styrene to make the peaks of the mat profile or even certain types of threashold you can find at home depot and such. Good luck.
