Not specifically Charlotte, but definitely nearby! This is Boyer from the Central North Carolina Ghostbusters (otherwise known as the Winston Salem Chapter or something if another group pops up)! How are you and are you forming a fan franchise of any sort?
You’re in Charlotte, so I’ve got to ask. Are you going to Heroes Con in June? It’s right there in Charlotte and DC and Marvel I hear will be there. Go google it. My franchise team is trying to go there in June, we’d probably love to meet up.

High Point, NC here. Revamping gear over the next year. Current suit and pack were just sold. I want a more screen accurate set up. Interested in doing a group proton pack build with NC folks. Would be pretty nice to do 4 or 5 in one weekend together.
in one weekend? takes a long time to get all the materials together. I’m down for it but dont think it can happen that fast.
True, I guess i’m kind of thinking too far out of the box. Maybe a series of weekends. I dunno. I’m brain dead lately.
Raleigh Ghosthead here. Finally got a pack. Looking to still build a trap & pedal and get my car decked out (I have magnetic decals currently, but that’s about it). – '05 saab 92-x in black (looks wagon-esque)

Whats up? I haven’t logged in in awhile. The pack building bug has been bitting the last few months. I wish I have never sold my last one. Considering doing a RGB version but nothing blue or cartooney. Just a real world translation of sorts. That and the screen accuracy thing is not in my budget.

I’m just below Charlotte, NC in South Carolina. Got the uniform and a pack. Would love to meet up with some of you sometime.
Winston Salem, NC. Looking to expand my group or be a part of someone else’s. Don’t have the money to prop build right now, but maybe we can hang sometime, like at conventions or next Halloween or raising money for non-profit organizations or something? Any excuse to wear a flight suit. Have ecto-goggles, ghost trap, and a really crappy proton pack (with some lights). Was building a PKE Meter and Slime Thrower (I have the slime and a real working slime blower gun, thanks to Nickelodeon), but got tired of prop building a couple of years ago. No car. Wanted a moped. Would have been cheaper and easier to store. No insurance needed, I think. I would have called it the Ecto-Ped 1A. Right now I’ve given into the working world. I’m a blue collar zombie. Fortunately it’s all to get married to the love of my life, or otherwise I’d break free from the boring, uncreative life of a working stiff, lol.
there is no breaking free of boring work. it has to be done.
I am starting my pack build and have a few materials, i have enough MDF for 2 or 3 motherboards. and one alice frame but im sure that is one of the last things i will attach. just let me know what i need to start up next and ill bring it up to winston and we can get started. we definitely owe it to ourselves to make great looking packs.
You and another guy want to help me build a pack now. It’s like a dream come true! I have no idea when a good time would be yet. I’m free Monday 8am to 5pm, 8am to 6pm, and Wednesday 8am to 7pm, but I still have freelance art to do as my secondary job. Anyway, I know I can’t break free from making money, but my passion - and what I went to college for - is comic art and animation (as well as digital special effects for live action movies). I’d be working towards that goal still if I wasn’t in a relationship. Problem is that it wasn’t going anywhere as fast as my future wife would like and I’m putting her first. Still, I’m working on art in my free time and hopefully I’ll find myself working my dream job in the far future sometime.
