Hey guys, hope you guys take to newbies well…

I am a HUGE Ghostbusters fan, but due to just finishing graduate school without a job, I don’t get to collect as much stuff as I used to.

But For now I have been getting back into Star Wars with the new vintage cards. I mostly collect Boba Fetts and errors.

I belong to a forum called POTF2.com which specializes in errors and basic star wars collecting.

On one of my trips to Toys R Us I found this little beauty. The Ghostbuster toys are a little too expensive for me to start collecting something other than Star Wars. But I plan on showing up around here for conversations.

I looked on here to see some of the errors but mostly it has been posted that the name tags on the bubble were switched, but an error on the figure I am hoping that this is one of the first posted.

Just to not cause trouble I will post this for sale in the actual sale section.

Just checked I guess I can’t post in the sale section, who knows I may let it stick around for a while, but maybe someone on here is interested if their focus is on Ghostbuster errors.

Otherwise hopefully I can save up for the 12" inchers.

There’s a lot of errors with the figures actually. My brother has the 4 pack where Venkman’s nametag is placed too high, almost off the namepatch.

Heck, there’s a Typo printed on the back of every single box. “Ray Stanz”

The most common ones with the 12 inch figures is on, oddly enough, the Ray figures. The patches were placed on upside down.

That’s kind of cool. I remember in 1997 I worked at Toys R Us and if someone found an error they would take it back and try to find one that was good, now it seems there is an underground culture for errors which I think is kind of charming.

Are mattel or matty collector errors sought after, or do people take them back to get a good set.

I would think on the 12" I would probably want one that is in correct form. Although there would be some Star Wars stuff at that size that I wouldn’t mind finding an error.

Who knows, I remember in the 80’s there being more variants than errors.
