I know this isn’t it but years ago Dan was talking about an HBO GB cartoon, that would be for more adult audiences…still think that’s a pretty cool avenue to explore
also…GBCON…I’m in, the wife is in…LET’S DO IT
mike
It will more than likely be the announcement of the RGB series coming to DVD
And prop replicas from Master Replicas ![]()
From what I understand Sony is not handeling the release of the Cartoon, they wouldn’t go out of thier way to advertise something that’s not thiers. Again, more than likely Blu-Ray Release.
Also according to Comic-Con’s website here’s what will be there from Sony:
Sony Computer Entertainment America - Representing the Video Game.
Sony Online Entertainment - Representing Nothing of Interest.
Sony Pictures Entertainment - Representing the Blu-Ray Release.
Sony Pictures Imageworks - Sony’s SFX Devision.
I also heard from someone on these boards that a rating was present for a small teaser image of the Ghostbusters logo, the rating was PG, why would they already have a rating for something that was new?
Good point. I saw the teaser ad, but I really don’t remember anything about an MPAA rating. If it were a new CGI movie, there wouldn’t be a rating unless the movie was in the can and submitted to the MPAA ratings board. I REALLLLY don’t think that ratings are given based on scripts alone. A TV show/cartoon wouldn’t have an MPAA rating. It’s possible that the BR could be restored with new effects, a’la ET and BLADE RUNNER.
mmmmm…
interesting…
Not really, I did a little back searching, and found that SOE runs MMORPGs, including Everquest, and Everquest II. I can only assume that’s what they’ll be representing at the convention. If anything having to do with Ghostbusters, I’d assume in conjunction with the other Sony divisions, perhaps representing the Ghostbusters website.
Though the idea of a Massive Ghostbusters RPG is a cool idea, it might get… tired… fast.
