Awesome, but given the fact that we already knew most of this, extremely lame.

I thought you said this was of biblical proportions.. I wasn’t expecting another movie or something, but still.. haha.

I do really want the music, though.

EDIT: I also need to re-iterate that this DVD release is almost as huge as the game for me, so I am beyond thrilled for it.. don’t get me wrong. I guess I wish the news of the set wasn’t announced so early, this would’ve been a real hell of a surprise then.

4

that was it? that was what they kept hyping up for months now?!?!

5

“Music and SFX tracks”

Sounds like it’s just the main episodes without the dialogue. The music’s not much good to us with the SFX still in it.

6

This is HUGE my man.. it’s just unfortunate the set was announced before the Con. Otherwise that wouldn’t be your reply right now..

7

Don’t be disappointed.. this DVD is going to be HUGE.

Look at the list of extras that just keep on getting longer and longer.

8

I should also post that TVshowsonDVD.com jumped the gun on this one.

They announced it back in Febuary back when WonderCon happened.. and then leaked out all the information a few weeks ago. It was susposed to be a secret until today… Since you guys are all avid fans, you already knew about it.

9

Man, I hope it’s released in the UK or TimeLife decide to ship to the UK.

10

Even If I didn’t know about this dvd prior to the so-called BIG announcement I’d still be disappointed. Hopefully the gamer news is better.

11

Yeah, sometimes I hate effective journalism. I love how Gord gets all these great scoops, and his site is so awesome, but he really stole Sony’s thunder on this one.

12

That’s the outlook we need to have.

I mean look at all the other TV shows (and 80s cartoons especially out there) that have “Best-Ofs”.. incomplete seasons, NO EXTRAS.. guys, this is THE release of Ghostbusters on home video for the decade.

Besides, some of you act surprised.. AJ already stated (numerous times) that all of us would know what it was.. we just didn’t know how extensive.

BRING ON THE SET!!

And Shod.. Time Life will NOT ship to the UK. They can’t ship internationally.. PC has an article on the subject up now.

Are you even a Ghostbusters fan?

13

Truly, they’re going to give us everything we could ever ask for on this set. It’s actually quite mind boggling.

I wonder how long the promo episode is. I’ll bet it’s only something like 15 minutes long or so, to sell the show.

14

Has anyone seen Patrick?

15

MWUHAHAHAH!

This, Freakazoid, and Tiny Toons coming to DVD…

This is big news indeed (even if most of it was known, I’m totally diggin how the extras are arranged for this!)

16

It is my understanding that there will be Music tracks.. and not episodes with no audio dialog (that would be boring!).

My guess is we will get the Real Ghostbusters score as a special feature option.

17

Patrick had to be ‘let go’.

18

Oh, man. Couldn’t you have let him dangle a little longer? I wanted to see his reaction!

19

What, did Sony fire him? hahahaha

20

oh don’t get me wrong, I am uber excited for the DVD set. It is on my list of must haves…Clortho is right, if it hadn’t been leaked I would be more excited
