Hi Guys,
I know that somewhere this is probably already on here and discussed at length, but man alive, there are just threads everywhere and i couldn’t find it :walterpeck: obviously there has to be a quantity of hose (cable conduit) either end for ancoring to the pack AND the wand, but what i would love to know is the basic length of the hose from the point it leaves the pack, and joins the wand. any help would be greatly appreciated

3/4" Split Loom
Gun to Pack: 5 ft.
Gear Box to Vacuum Tube: 2 ft.
1/4" Split Loom
HGA to Filler Tube (also called the “Beam Line”): 2 ft.
Boots for Injectors & Sage M50W Resistor to PPD: 1-1.25" (six needed)

Sorry to bump an old thread but when the diameter of the conduit is shown, is that ID or OD?
I only ask as I’ve managed to find a UK seller who does all conduits in either split or non split.

Those lengths are too long.
5 + 2 = 7 and sellers on here only provide 6ft worth of hose.
It really varies, but if there must be an answer, I would say 4 ft from pack to thrower and 18 inches from crank gen to vacuum tube.
Typically for length you want to put on as much as you feel comfortable with given your arm length.
Yeah, I didn’t want my tubing to loop over my arm, so I made it shorter. I feel like for practicality reasons this is up to the individual wearer. Of course there will always be screen accurate choices, but for someone who takes their packs out to an event I think practicality and functionality over accuracy is always the answer.
BTW: Quagmire, can’t wait to see the 84 Original Nightmare Silicone! Do you have any progress pics? This was always my favorite version of Fred. Can’t wait to see someone do it right!
I think that 13" total from the gear box to the vacuum tube looks the best. I originally had my thrower hose at 5’ total, but found that to be too long, so I trimmed it down to 4’, and after installing there is only about 3.5’ exposed from cyclotron to thrower. But like AJ said, whatever works best for you.
