Hello fellow GBFans first time posting on this forum but long time user of the site. I thought I would share my first proton pack build combined with a proton gun build I’m currently working on. Got the idea to build this after coming across an old aluminium frame hiking backpack (for $4.00) with a built in ‘bumper’. This ‘bumper’ determined the proportions of the pack.
The pack started off with the idea to make it more of a Real Ghostbuster pack but ended up being a blend of movie/real ghostbuster and my own design choices due to material I found. The pack came to about AUS $100 (so far). Ion arm section still being worked on along with power cell and electronics yet to be installed. I plan to mount a trap in the same way as the RGB version of the pack as I prefer that look over to mounting on the belt.
The gun was going to be difficult as I was going to use a junction box but my local depots didn’t carry anything I could use. I ended up modifying the neutrino wand from a Ghostbusters 2016 Proton Projector Pack to look a little more like the original neutrino wand. (weathering and labels still to be added)
