So I’ve had the fabric for.. a really long time, but finally got to doing it a few days ago. Only took me an hour or so to make, but that’s because I cheated and went to fashion school. Either way, I’m really happy with the results:

Orange: Silk/Poly blend Crepe Chiffon

Gold: I don’t remember. Just something that was gold.

and with my roommate who’s in progress on a gozer costume:

Once I draw up some small scale patterns, I’ll post them here with directions. The important note on getting the same drape as Dana’s costume in the movie is to cut the fabric on the bias and with additives for flare.

I don’t know what I’m more impressed with; the costumes or the photo of them in that setting. Nice job!

yea, I’ve a friend who’s a photographer who has a smoke machine so.. it was pretty much a requirement to get him to do some photos.
