Dragoncon is a great start of the halloween season for us.
I really wish the wife and I could have made it to this year’s DC. Just couldn’t get my jank organized in time. Really looking forward to 2011.
Gareee, were you and your wife the only NC GB representation at the con this year?
As far as I know, yep. One of the Charlotte guys mentioned he wanted to meet up with us if we drove through that way, but that would have been 4 hours out of the way towards Atlanta.
I’ve been in contact with a few guys over the past year around the Asheville area, but we hardly ever hear from anyone around here, and this year has been tough on us time wise because of the massive amount of ■■■■ we’ve had tossed in our direction this year.
I just came across the canton corn maze website this am, and I emailed them.

Last year they wanted to know if we could work with them more this year, and I’m sure we’ll oblige somehow. They also have a facebook page, and they posted pics of our appearance there last year.

I hear ya. This next year you can just pick us up on the way to DC. We’re only about 3 hours north of Asheville.-grin

Thats still a long distance off.. our drive down to dragoncon is slightly less then 3 hours.
We’ll do appearances at a number of the corn mazes around here for the halloween season, and of course do whatever christmas parades we can fit into.
How far are you away from the blue ridge parkway skiing area? There’s a haunted train ride up there, and maybe we could work something out with them for an appearance during this halloween season? That should be somewhat equadistant to us both.
3 hours north of Asheville is Tennessee! You might even be almost out of TN by that point too?!
