Decal/Sticker Placement

I’ve been doing searches for decal and sticker placement with no luck. The reference pictures are just not clear enough for me to know where to put pictures and my venkman plans only show the wand stickers. Where can I find out where pack labels/decals/labels should go?

You do realize there’s an entire data base of accurate fan-made packs with the stickers in the right areas…right?

Some help (Thanks to Filandrius’ pack):

There aren’t that many pack labels, which ones are you having problems with and how exact are you trying to be?

Here are the ones I am confused about.

What labels you need to use also depends on the pack you are replicating.. But most of the ones you pictured are for the thrower.

well, I am going GB1. WHich of these go on the go on the thrower besides the red dots? Also do I use all teh red arrows or just one of them?

The reference section is your friend.

What is the Caution Hot Allow to cool before removal sticker for?

I saw it on a n-filter and on the part on the bottom left side of the cyclotron that the red and blue tubes go into coming from the injectors.

I think it may have been one of the “random” placement labels. If used at all on said pack.

The “Caution: hot” never was used on the N-filter. It was used on the little box with the injector tubes, but only on GB2 packs. It is NOT used on a GB1.

Sweet. So the N filter just has the little red wiring diagram in it and that is it?

Nope. It has a big grey “Danger” label that’s not included in the set you have, methinks.

Some of the GB2 packs only had the dry rub transfer on the N-filter, though that could have been because the danger label fell off…

Depends. The “standard” GB2 pack (if there’s such a thing) doesn’t have a Danger label on the N-filter. They didn’t put any on the semi-hero packs, but they didn’t think to remove them from all the hero packs (example: the Minnesota doesn’t have one, but the Sony lobby has)

All GB1 has one, though.

Yeah, one of the PH packs has the sticker residue still present. That might be the BM hero pack though.

I wonder if they just ran out of those labels for the new packs.

Since most labels were found items, it’s a distinct possibility.

Sorry for the necro-post, but this is the first thread that pops up in a search for ‘injector sticker’, so I didn’t deem it prudent to ask this in an all-new thread.

I was watching the movie again and was wondering if this is a DANGER sticker on the box that the injector tubes feed into…

Also, the pack appears to have a piece of silvery prop department tape at the bottom which reads, upside down, 'DAN A."

Funnily enough, despite having complained for years at the lack of originality in George Lucas naming a character ‘LUKE S.’, it has never until now occurred to me that Dan A. named a character in Ghostbusters ‘DANA’.

You are correct, sir. Here is that same label on the Sony Lobby Hero pack.

I think the thing that looks like “Dan A” is the XLR / switch bracket.

Here’s an enlarged shot of the same frame from the movie, and my own pack from a similar-but-not-identical angle:

You can see the shiny side of the XLR socket, the two 90-degree bends in the aluminum bracket, even the toggle (which I was happy to see has the same ‘forward=on’ orientation that I chose).

Then there’s also the diagonally-applied, flat-to-the-mobo rectangle of silvery grey with what appear to be hand-drawn letters on it.
