You’ll find most all you’ll need in the REFERENCE section of this site.
But to help some more (to save a few minutes of sifting through all the pictures, especially in the offchance you actuall overlook one of the photos like I’ve done a couple times) here is a direct detailed listing to **most **of the label locations on your Proton Pack and Gun. From the movie packs most are continuous on design and locations. But you’ll see here that a few of them do differ from pack to pack, so for a couple of the labels you’re going to have to chose which one you personally like best.
If I get any wrong, or others wish to add in some other reference shots feel free. The more accurate info the better.
Here is one that you’ll need to decide which sticker goes above this black/red label, which the black/red label seems common among the packs. On some reference photos you’ll see an outline along the entire length of the N-Filter where a pretty good sized sticker must have once been. LINK and LINK. But on another pack you’ll see a much smaller label LINK.
Another difference among packs is the label that goes onto the Spacer that the Red and Blue injector tubes feed into. One of the packs has a CAUTION - HOT label: LINK
A different pack has a small red DANGER label: LINK
So you’re going to have to decide which one is best for your own pack.
PROTON GUN
Many of them on the front of the Gun, including numbers 1 2 3 on the top knurled knob.
A note: I placed the center label facing up, but that was my personal choice. If you wish to be strict on the label there is 1 shot I found that shows they placed the label upside down… well… to them it’s the right way and mine could be upside down. LINK
i dont like this thread. It’s catering to those who are too lazy to look at the reference section which not only shows you exactly where to place the labels, but also shows things you can do to make your pack more accurate(like where to properly place the rear grip on the thrower)
also its missing some label spots like the n-filter danger label, the red danger labels on the cyclotron and injector block as seen on GB1 packs, and the metallic “Caution: Hot” label found on the injector block on GB2 packs
That’s why I left out some labels, because some are not the same from one pack to another. As well I don’t doubt I’ve missed at least a couple of the labels, hence why I suggest in the beginning that anybody who wishes to join in and contribute is welcomed.
As for “not liking” this thread. You’re welcome to not like it. However what happens on pretty much every single forum on the internet? You get dozens of repeat threads of the same topic. Usually the common response is telling people to do their own research, or to .
Personally I’d rather see a “Super Sticky” with detailed listing to the most useful threads of the section. Don’t need to have a sticky of each thread, just 1 sticky w/ a link to the threads themselves. This way you don’t have 1/2 the front page covered with stickied topics.
You know Exoray, I know him, but does any new guy showing up? And when people ask usually they’re told “look up Exoray” and need to sift through hundreds of his posts to *maybe *find what they’re looking for. Truth be told not everybody can spend hour upon hours researching. You can call it “lazy” but some just need the info now so they can get on with the project. You might have all the time in the world but that’s not everybody’s luck. So instead of being grumpy I’d rather be helpful.
meph, i totally understand where youre coming from, youre trying to help the noobs but at the same time youre doing a disservice to them by making it unnecessary for them to visit the reference section for this purpose.
i see that you did provide a link, so i apologize.
