Some of the stuff on that update were either released earlier this week (i.e. FFVII) or last week (i.e. Resistance 2 skins). Not much to go on, but it’s something…
I have a xbox 360 and sonys getting me mad cause they are always giving ps3 users stuff. The could at least released the demo for the 360 the same day as ps3’s
well ya know what atleast the game will be officially out in a week and we all will be busting some heads and who knows I bet you anything their waiting to release the demo next week
I’m excited to play the game but not upset that it’s not being released on the 360 (i have both consoles) even though I’m buying it for the 360. Both consoles have their advantages and disadvantages when it comes to demos and DLC. PS3 users tend to get the short end of the stick with DLC (GTA4 anyone?). I love both my 360 and PS3 and have accepted their odd ways to get content to their user base.
But hang in there guys, if you are desperate for the demo before you buy the game it’ll happen, just wait it out. I cant wait to get my hands on it and the blu ray.
Yup, seems like we’re not getting it tonight… unless they update later than usual tonight for some reason. I’m not going to hold my breath, though. At least we got the GB home content to play around with. I’ve been walking around several spaces in my GB uniform and getting all kinds of reactions from people. I like walking into a crowded room and saying “Hey, anyone seen any ghosts?” lol That gets a good reaction every time.
Interesting how Fight Night Round 4 comes out June 25th and the demo is released this early, but Ghostbusters comes out in less than 12 days and we still have nothing.
I checked out XBox Live earlier today and they added one new demo which was for Guitar Hero: Smash Hits. The new new GH game also gets released on June 16th.
XBox Live made the wrong choice of demo if you ask me- especially since Smash Hits is just a collection of older songs from the first couple of GH games.
You know, all joking and thinly veiled insults aside, I’d really like to know why Atari/Sony/Microsoft decided not to release a demo yet. Even more so, why they decided not to release a demo at all, if it comes to be that way. They obviously have a demo or two ready since they’ve had one at multiple conventions, and this game is really getting a lot of hype in blogs, news, magazines, etc. There’s a widget, Facebook app and new and updated official websites. There’s a bunch of interviews with many of the people involved in the game including headlining actors, fans on multiple websites and message boards chomping at the bit for this game…
In all seriousness, what is the reason for holding back/not releasing a demo?
(Just so it’s said, I’m not attacking, nor looking for an attack against any of the developers/distributors of the game, but merely looking for opinions, feedback and some understanding into this boggling decision.)
