I was there in full gear this past one, and my costume seemed to be getting TONS of attention. I figured I’d at least see one other ghosthead, but I didnt see any. (I was only there from 11am to 5pm, had to work). the best comments I got were from the locals calling me a “halloween hater” and “Ghost Pig” :lol: my costume isnt even that great, but everyone wanted pictures with me. I was hoping to see at least one of you guys… :vinzclortho: maybe next year
Damn, i live insalem, but i couldn’t afford a costume so i didn’t go. I stayed home like a retard.
I was there, and as usual, I was dressed up in my “Ash” costume (from Evil Dead 1 & 2, and Army of Darkness). I love going downtown, it’s always a great time to be there for Halloween, especially since I live there.
I saw someone dressed as Ash in one of the graveyards. It was around 11am-12pm, oh and a pretty sweet beetlejuice.
Ive only been to Salem twice in my life, once with my folks in the summer about 15 years ago, and then with some friends a few years ago - we arrived at our hotel (in the next town over) the morning of halloween, got dressed in our costumes and headed out - my GB costume was quite popular, I must’ve posed for like 50 pictures… I’ll post some of them here tomorrow - my nametag had my last name as opposed to SPENGLER (who I most resemble), so next time Im getting a spengler nametag - that night we ran into the same people (3 guys and a girl) that go every year in there Ecto 1, but they didnt have packs, the main guy offered to buy mine, I think he wanted to make molds of it instead of building them from scratch - I did end up selling it on ebay a couple years ago, wish I’d kept it - I’m hoping to build another (lighter) one this year and go back on Halloween since it falls on a friday this year

i will be there (it would be really lazy of me if i didn’t since i live here). I’m not sure what i want to do for my costume. I don’t think I’m going to do Ash again, simply because i’ve been it for 3 years in a row and my girlfriend wants to do something with me. we might do ao vampire and vampress or batman and robin (they have a girl robin costume); we’re still figuring it out. if i can get a proton pack started, i would love to have one for next year.
yeah, i will be up there in full dress this year. only thing that accured to me is that it must be a pain to go to the bars and stuff with all this damn equipment on. and theres no way in hell im leaving it anywere. how dd you guys manage the gb props all day/night without putting them down? i want to go into places, bars, spook walks and stuff. any suggestions besides dont bring it? haha
I may head down there. When does everyone walk around in costume though? During the day or only at night? Because I was considering heading down to boston to find a place to enter a costume contest. The competition in Salem itself is likely to be stiff. 
Its been a while since I went, 2004 maybe? I went with a girlfriend (at the time) twice and it was also early October… between the 7th or 14th. I was in costume (alot of very gory hollywood style makeup, that we use for medical simulations and training at work)… but I was also like the only one in costume aside from people working haunted houses and attractions. Got alot of photo ops with other tourists. At night there were a few other costumes but still not very many. Either way though it was a great time. I think the costume contest is either on the 31st or Nov. 2nd… alot of the main events run from the 30th - 2nd.
