Looked like we needed a general halloween 2009 thread for everyone to post in. We’ll kick it off:
This was backstage in thge club where we won best group, and overall best costumes! Two years, two different clubs, and 1st prize in both! Allright!

Thanks! We built its lightbar pretty cheap, and the silver top box houses speakers, so we can run the siren and music as well. It was VERY popular this halloween, I can tell you!
I wasn;t sure how well it would hold up toi serious rain, and it turned out while we were in a club last nuight for 4 hours, it poured like hell.. so since we made it back home safe, I guess I did a decent job putting it together. There are more pics in the thread link in my sig.

Halloween here kinda sucked, again.
Not one person to take pictures with, no parties in the area and no friends to hang out with. Just a few ghetto kids with pillow cases taking all the candy in sight.
I just walked to the ice cream store two blocks down and came back home.
I seriously feel like not even bothering with next year.
I had a great Halloween last night as i hope everyone else did as well. Last night after a long Halloween work party me and the wife last minute decided to go to the Biltmore hotel which is where they filmed the Sedgewick footage for Ghostbusters. I only took a few pics but walking in the exact entrance the Ghostbusters first made their appearance in full gear was a pretty awesome feeling and hearing the hotel ushers shout look its the Ghostbusters made it a little cooler.
I didn’t get a chance to locate other exact filming locations due to be limited on time but i do plan on going back again to get a lot more shots my main goal this trip was to get the entrance picture and was successful.
After the Sedgewick we went to walk the Hollywood star walk for about a hour and have to say, alot of people this Halloween seemed to have generic costumes but i did end up running into this guy who had a custom made Transformers outfit which was my favorite i saw for the hour i was their and i have to say it was pretty cool, the wheels on his arms actually spun and moderately cycled back and forth giving the transforming effect and sound.
Not even fifteen minutes into walking the star walk we ran into a sleezy Gozer and Slimer that had pretty decent custom outfits.

Overall i had a great time all night, walking the Hollywood star walk and doing the Sedgewick was by far the highlights of me and the wifes night. Hearing everyone going nuts cheering Ghostbusters for the whole time i was their pretty much was also very deflightful.

Ya have to MAKE your own fun, CPU. We went to two corn mazes, just to support them, and posing for pics the week before halloween. On halloween day, we hit the big areas that kids were trick r treating at, the ones advertised in the paper, like the mall, and the rural downtown area here. We just picked one of the clubs having a costume contest… its actually 3 clubs connected to each other, one is usually a drag queen hangout. (They even had a best in drag category in their halloween contest.)
Thats why we did our last minute ecto.. to do the hallowen trick r treating drive, and give us more oppertunities.
The landscapes in those pics is really beautiful Garee very nice shots, and custom Ecto is pretty cool to, i likes!

We get a bunch pf people we know, find a parking lot and have everyone park so all the trunks are aimed at each other. Then decorate your trunk and have the kids go to each one.
One guy brought a horse trailer and had kids enter one side and go out the other for candy.
You just mentioned “We went to..” We did this.."
I don’t have a We. Its just me, in a neighborhood full of old people. I couldn’t even find anyone around who was going downtown.
And its kinda lame to go by yourself.. I’ll have friends someday 
My first pack build…cept..i didnt do anything for halloween. I wore it outside for no more than 7 min… but got great complements. People ran out of restaurants just to see me. A girl ran out with the fork still in her hand and was like OMG!!! Thats AMAZING!!!
CPU: You shoulda gone out by yourself! You;d be amazed at the attention you’ll get! And some will be by hawt chicks as well!
Chicks dig the uniform. 
Whats the point of going to all the work to build our gear, if ya can;t go out and have FUN with it. Hell even stopping in stores or malls will get you tons of compliments, and you are making other people’s halloween better as well! I think we probably posed for easily 300 pics over the course of the past few days, and people are so complimentary, and that makes ya feel killer!
Chris, damn man I’m envious as hell of you! Looks like you had a great Halloween. Man you got to hit all the hot spots and even met slimmer and Gozer! Awesome pics man!
I was so bummed i didnt get to do ANYTHING on halloween. 
But I work at an amusement park and we got to dress up for the month of october, so I wore my costume all last friday sat and sunday and everyone loved it. So i kinda got to show off…but dammit..i wanted so much more. I was supposed to go to San Francisco but things didnt go according to plan and i just ended up staying at GF’s apartment in Berkeley.
