I can’t find any decent ones in my area yet! Hopefully I can find one or two that have some awesome costume contests! I won $100 last year at one party! I’m going to see if I can do better this year!!

Aye, I am going out on the 31st as a Ghostbuster and I’m really excited, I’ve got the whole costume apart from the name badge and elbow pads.
going to a family halloween party. all the gear is ready to go..i think. I’ll be sure and keep some krazy glue in my pocket for any accidents. bwuuhahaha. good luck zack
Thanks man. I think I have a good chance of winning a costume contest and winning some money with either the proton pack or slime blower but I’m wondering if I should just go with the pack since EVERYONE knows it though I’m sure a lot of people will remember the SB. 
I might post comparison pics and get some opinions for next week!
Well I went out with it last night for the first time with my SB. I might have a couple pics from that later. The response was awesome. Overall just not really a setting you wanna carry something big and clunky. Small house with a LOT of people and drunk people. Luckily the party was a couple houses away from my parents house so after awhile I dumped it off back there for fear of getting bumped around anymore. I guess I could have just stayed out in the yard with ppl but really didn’t want anything to happen just yet.
Lot of ppl asking where I bought it, was it heavy, I was a REAL Ghostbuster, You’re all decked out, that is AWESOME, don’t zap me, ppl in disbelief that I made it. haha someone asked if the gun was a rocket launcher.
Enough of my ugly mug. For some reason I look tired as hell haha that was already around 11ish. There are more pics in my SB topic and under my props, didn’t wanna clutter the whole thread with me.

Fantastic job on the Slime Blower Zack. I’m retiring the proton pack after this Halloween with the idea in mind to build a Slime Blower next.
Speaking of next, looks like my next stop on the Halloween trail will be Tues night, Beggars Night Party at one of the local bars here in Buffalo.

I get to go trick or treating with the girlfriend and her daughter this year. If we can find a sitter, we’ll probably go out to the club on saturday. Either way, it’ll be fun! The only addition to the RGB pack this year was lights, but they add a lot to the effect!
I’m not worried about my pack taking damage, I’m more concerned about the people around me, lol!
I’m gonna attempt to do what someone did. I’ll have a camera as well as some of my friends but someone had the idea of giving out business cards with your email for ppl you take pics with. I forget if it was successful but we’ll see! Won’t print too many!
Oh that’s a col idea. Too bad all my Halloween plans fell through this year … I have some stink ass friends who who a) don’t invite me to their parties and b) never come to mine.
Aww man, why do you get to have a party in such an awesome building? The only good place I could find in Boston was in the Roxy and that’s not nearly as cool as that place, which looks kinda like the Boston library.
We converted a bar connected to our downtown movie theatre into a club.. Sounds either exotic, or ghetto, right? Well.. I’ll tell you this much - VIP tickets were available, and the only difference was the VIP area offered couches (that I had to help pull out of a basement parking garage, so they were complete with dust, dirt, missing cushions, etc.).
Yep.. Looks horrible, right? It was better than some of the other stuff goin’ on in these parts. It is Kansas, so I’ve grown to expect very little during the season. I did encounter another Ghostbuster (for the first time in the last 3 years, now), and this guy didn’t have the inflatable pack, either.
His pack was made out of a foam block, and pieces from an old vacuum they just blew up two weeks ago. I have to say, I haven’t seen the inflatable get ups yet (just the suit on a guy earlier that day), but I think this was probably cooler than the inflatable pack. At least he put his costume together, rather than buying that garbage man get up with an inflatable pool toy. :sigh:

A rocket launcher…lol. Someone once asked me if my proton pack was a leafblower. When I said no, they asked if I worked for Lucasfilm. I guess there’s nothing in-between.
My photos aren’t as good as Zack’s, nor is my outfit. I did convince my 80s band to dress up as GBs again, with the lead female singer coming as Gozer in a spandex bodysuit decorated with iridescent fabric and bubble wrap. I put together the jumpsuits with military nametapes and Intergalactic arm patches, and picked up some black pistol belts for the guys who needed them. I left my proton pack at home knowing that it would likely get damaged and I would not be able to put on a take off a guitar with the pack on.
These iPhone photos suck because of the low lighting (my guitar in that third pic is actually yellow, believe it or not – bonus points for recognizing what it’s from) but we did attempt to represent in San Francisco.
And we collectively hate the GB song as a band, but we did quote it and did a few lines in the middle of “Rapper’s Delight.” I do not think the meager crowd noticed.
