Halloween 2008.

I’m thinking this thread needs to be moved to where all the other Halloween threads are.

The Arizona Ghostbusters did a patrol of Mill Ave in Tempe, AZ near the ASU campus. Due to the amount of bars and clubs it’s the main place to be on Halloween night around here. I was unable to go but the guys had a blast. They decided to go full slime with dirt and fake cigarettes. We now know being covered in slime does help keep people from hanging on you and grabbing you too much. Very helpful in crowded situations.

Ha, nice! Just got done slugging it out with some pretty pesky poltergiests, eh?

Surprisingly, the party I attended this year (over 2900 people attended) had more ghostbusters than jokers…however, I was the only one there dressed in accurate GB gear. I received many compiments, but I didn’t even attempt to enter the costume contest 'cause there were so many slutty women walking around in their underwear costumes. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but I know I have no chance against T & A.

p.s

I was interviewed by some website that was there  . I was pretty drunk when the interview took place, so I probably made a ■■■■ out of myself :sigh: … I’ll put the link up here when I find it.

some pics from my halloween party…

My “Janine” and me

holy spirit!!!

I like the slime look a lot. I gotta try that next time!

Thanks. People love it.

I put some info up what we use in this thread:

I highly recommend it. I haven’t found anything even close that doesn’t stain and you have to mix up.

Good stuff! Glad you got it done and hope you enjoyed your night.

i enjoyed it very very much! this is my second favorite time of year!

Wow nice! Great Stuff, everyone!

Hi all,

Seeing as no one seems to have started this yet I figured I would ask to see everyone else’s Halloween pics!! These are a couple of me and my mate out on the town in Uxbridge (West London) UK

This last one is me and my little girl going out trick or treating.

Who got more candy?

LOL Strangly she got more than me but I did hang back cos it wasnt fair otherwise!

Halloween on the whole was a blast.

The evening started out around 9:00 where I met up with my friends at their place in town, with the plan to go to the Student Union Halloween party. After a hour of drinking and getting acquainted we went into town, only to find the queue that stretched the length of the smallish building housing the party…

We then decided to sod that, and go down the pup instead. Overall the place and experience were great, they’d made an effort with their decorations (replacing most of the normal white bulbs with red ones) and even the staff had dressed up. Although the place was far too busy, with there being only standing room, and the stupid geography that led to a almost constant stream of people crossing the cramped dance floor to go to and from the beer garden, and the toilets.

The music could’ve also been better, with the stuff that was played whilst we were there consisting of mostly incoherant electro/dance rubbish, and only two actual Halloween songs: Thriller and Ghostbusters.

Despite this though, it was still a rather fun evening… although I didn’t like how often my hat went wondering on it’s own… especially when we were about to leave, when two girls brushed past me on either side and my hat was suddenly yanked off of my head. I managed it get it back from the two little cows, and people like that at times ruin the Halloween atmosphere… thankfully they only dealt it a minor dent.

And my mood was made a lot better when, out on the street outside the pub, two British policemen were walking by on the opposite pavement, and one saluted me. Which was awesome.

It being 2:00AM, we eventually walked back… encountered a discarded baby pram, and the odd mentally scarring memory, and eventually let down our hair back at my mate’s house.

So, whilst there were bits that could’ve been better, it was still a fun and memorable night out… and besides enjoying myself being one of the most important things, the other was that the NYPD costume went down a storm, with plenty of people commenting positively about it. 8)

In addition to my costume, my brother was invited out to a night out with friends the day after Halloween and decided to go as a particular villain we all know pretty well:

It doesn’t show up too well because of the flash, but he also applied the medallion burn marks to his hand.

Hope you had a Happy Halloween.

The last set… is probably one of the most awesome costume ideas I’ve seen since the Tony Stark chest piece costume.

Awesome.

Gotta say, all you guys look like you had awesome Halloweens. Great pictures.

I posted this pics in one of the other boards, but I see that there is an ongoing Halloween thread here, so I figured I’d post them here too. Here is my costume from this year:

I didn’t realize until uploading the pics that some of my hair was sticking out. LOL!

For Halloween, our Franchise was requested to check one of the most busy street in the metropolitan area - Montreal’s Crescent street - to ensure its bartending venues were all free of PKE activities.

We also did a job near the pier to a haunted house.

then we went on Crescent street, blocked the circulation a bit

We paid a visit to our old friend Libby

the bartenders did like to see us around, and we had to make the old musical gigs at some place, or had to accept some beverages - even if we told them we can’t while working.

Several were asking “who you gonna call” but we had to tell them “someone else, we’re busy”. lol.

There was one place with small activities, but we managed to get it in no time

I’d like to attract your attention to the dude behind me, currently toying with my proton accelerator. What’s to worry about? ain’t he know about not touching unlicensed nuclear accelerator?

for pics, see there:

Heres some awful ones that were just developed…yes from FILM. terrible.

Dang dude, you do look alot like bruce campbell.
