OK well This was my first time going out and i was extremely excited to strap oin the pack and show it off.
Friday October 26th: My brother his girlfriend and I attended a Halloween party at a VFW post and it consisted of about 40 people. So i suited up made sure everything was square, as soon as i stepped through the door everyone just couldent stop checking out my costume. People coming up to me complimenting me on the detail and realalistic it was. People didnt believe that the pack was hand made and from scratch, but i had to reasure them by explaining the whole process(im sure im not the only one who has had to do this). One 40 year old woman even asked if she could hold my proton gun…:- :-). One girl dressed as the statue of liberty actually came up to me saying she absolutely loved my costume, i guess i should have gotten a picture with her…but i don’t think she was french.
So by the time the contest rolled around it was 12am. With all the compliments that were said to me i figured i had this contest in the bag. But so girl about 6’5" tall dressed as a gargoyle beat me. Which was a bunch of ■■■■ because she was only wearing Black spandex Foam wings and a rubber mask. But i kind of figured since it was a VFW post everyone knew eachother so it was fixed. About 10 minutes later that same girlbumpbed into the pack and snapped off the proton gun, and the bottom piece of wood that attached the gun to the pack was still left on. So i had to fix it later the next day.
Saturday October 27th:
The next night Us three joined some of my brothers friends Downtown, and headed to the country bar. Once again i was a head turner and the bartenders love my costume.
My brother decided to take a ride on the mechanical bull which was funny
After we left the country bar once again the compliments were plentiful. I even had a guy from a block away yell “GHOSTBUSTERS! WOOOOO!” then his girlfriend proceed to sing the song.
We went to a club a few blocks down and on my way there finally came face to face with a fellow ghostbuster in the area. I believe he’s GB Ash on this site(If thats ok for me to mention). NIce guy and great gear as well. Me my brother and everyone else headed over to a club called QUOTE. Long story short I entered the contest advanced to the finals for a chance to win $2000 bucks, and once again i lost. I placed SECOND and lost to a guy dressed as Tyrone from the dave cheapel show :angryvigo: . I was friggen ■■■■■■ off he didnt even have an actual costume. He lookded like a ■■■ off the street. It ■■■■■■ me off something royal but it didnt helkp when he had 10 of his buddies up front cheering for him. I didnt get jack %$#@ for second either…but all in all all the compliments added up to being better than winning money…well kinda 
, but i had a blast. Before the night ended the played the best song of the night the Ghostbusters Theme song, i went nuts and started dancing like they did at the birthday party and the music video. People loved it had had people shouting ghostbusters and everything. well I cant wait till next halloween, but until then im goin to his up some comic cons in Pitsburgh and Toronto.
