Having recently registered, I thought I should pop over and say Hi.
My name is Lee, I’m a GB fan (obviously!) - but I must confess, I wouldnt say I was obssessive, I couldnt for example recount the scripts line by line, but certainly love this classic movie and its characters.
I’m very nearly 33 and I live in Essex/London borders in the UK, and work in I.T.
I’ve always wanted (for as long as I can remember) to dress up as a Ghostbuster and hit the town, heading for an 80’s bar (namely any of the Reflex chain or similar!) - but always thought my own handiwork skills insufficient to do a self build pack.
I was told recently at work we’re having a fancy dress party in the beginning of november, and thought oh heck why not try to buy a pack off of e-bay…
So I took a look and found a listing, which I was lucky enough to win. Subsequently, I thought I should seek advice about the uniform, and from Googling, ended up here!
What’s even more weird, is that by chance when browsing the forums, I noticed nick-a-tron’s recent post about a pack he’d placed on ebay, and realised it was the very pack I had won! - so I am really really pleased to see all the comments about his handiwork, and now even more so, I cant wait to receive my pack.
I’ve been busy buying bits for my uniform from all over the web, and await deliveries for everything at the moment.
I’m also trying to work out how I can get light and sound into my pack and who is the person/company to go to at this moment in time (given I want to receive and install before November!) - so any advice further to the current topics, would be greatly appreciated.
