Dying, colouring a white poly cotton boilersuit.

I’m putting together a Ghostbuster suit for my son, but I was struggling finding a tan or khaki boilersuit. I’ve ended up getting a white poly cotton boilersuit and I’m planning on dying it. I read somewhere about using tea-bags in a bath tub to strain the suit.

Any ideas, help would be appreciated.

Why not buy some Rit tan colored dye? If you’re worried about staining the tub, you could always use a bucket.
