Ecto-1 for newer figures

Does it ■■■ anyone else out that we’ll never get an ecto for the Diamond Select toys or anything else? Sure we’ve gotten a Funko pop version for those and one for the smaller toys for the new movie, but never for anything after the Extreme Ghostbusters line. I know Mattel tried to get a fundraising going for their figures sometime ago (rather then making it and getting their money back), but nothing for anyone else.

Why is it one of the coolest things that comes with being a Ghostbuster not made for the toys?

Easy. The figures are too big to make an Ecto cost effective. If they were 3 3/4 we’d probably see one by now. An Ecto in scale to the DST figures would be at least $200. Blitzway is supposedly doing one for their 1/12 line. That would probably work better with the Mattel stuff though. We shall see.
